Our soccer club relies 100% on parent and community volunteers.  Coaching is an incredibly rewarding and fun experience.  It gives you a chance to give back to the community, and if you're coaching your own child, you get to spend more time with them.  We provide free training and all the equipment you need.  As a coach, you will pick a practice time that works with your family/work schedule.

Time commitments depend upon the age you are coaching:
PreK-Kinder is one hour a week (Brookings) with a practice and game happening on Saturdays in the morning-early afternoon.  Gold Beach has a short practice during the week and a game on Saturday mornings.
All other age groups practice 2x a week and games on Saturdays.  Approximately 3 hours a week.
As a coach, you must complete and pass a free background check; new this year is the required completion of a "Safe Sport" training (free) to recognize and prevent child abuse.  This is a new federal law.

Soccer experience is not necessary or required, but enthusiasm and a sense of fun, is!
